Welcome to the Leeuwenboschfontein (LBF) observatory, a premier dark-sky destination located in the Karroo, less than 200km from Cape Town. Nestled within the Leeuwenboschfontein Guest Farm, our privately operated facility offers an extraordinary, light-pollution-free view of the spectacular southern hemisphere night sky. We are at an altitude of 1 100 m.
